Our Story

Comfort-Tech began in January 2021 when Master Technician Carlos Olmos decided to build a company based on skill, integrity, and the belief that comfort starts with doing things the right way. With nearly twenty years of hands-on experience in heating and cooling, he shaped the business around clear communication, quality work, and steady support for local homeowners.

When the world shifted in 2020, Carlos used the moment to create new opportunities for his family and community. What started as one technician with a vision quickly became a trusted name in Northern Virginia. Today, Comfort-Tech continues to grow while maintaining a personal approach to every service call.

Locally Rooted

Carlos grew up in Alexandria and completed Mount Vernon High School’s HVAC vocational program in 1998. He followed that with a four-year apprenticeship while working full time in the industry. More than twenty-five years later, he and his wife are raising their two children in the same community he has always called home.

The company reflects those roots. We serve neighborhoods, teachers, families, and small businesses in the area with the same care we would offer our own. Comfort-Tech is not just a service provider. It’s the product of dedication and a genuine commitment to the community.
